As a child of the 80's I remember my grandmother having a jewelry box filled with pins and brooches that I completely adored. On occasion I would sneak one to wear to school in hopes of being fashionable. As I grew older, I began to shy away from them as fashions changed and saw them as old lady jewelry.

Now that I have aged myself to become that "older lady" they have begun to sing to me again and piqued my interest. I now see them as a sophisticated piece of jewelry that brings a sense of class to any outfit.

Even more, a brooch can make a statement without even saying a word. The meaning behind a brooch can be personal or belong to a collective of individuals or group. They can send messages, celebrate a season or even empower the person wearing it.

Most importantly, depending on the energetic properties of the design layout, colors and materials, the brooch can also effect the subtle energies of the body and help to create change within the individuals aura and overall wellbeing.

Hi... My name is Adina and I am the designer and creator of the Power Brooch Boutique. I began creating brooches after COVID forced me to give up my love for dance and to find something new. Creating brooches allows me to be creative and share that creativity with the world.
